A 25-year-old patient with myeloid leukemia, after repeated blood transfusions, developed anemia, icteric staining of the skin and sclera. Death came from brain hemorrhage. At the autopsy, in addition to changes in the brain, there was an increase in the liver and spleen. The bone marrow and the named organs were of brown (rusty) color. The mechanism of development of the pathological process underlying these changes
